Don't these pictures look like we had so much fun for Thanksgiving this year? Cuz yes! We did! We really missed having Tim's and Dani's families, but it was still a really great time. I am really grateful for my family! And for a beautiful home, and food to eat, and clothes to wear, and for so so so many blessings that I take for granted everyday! I am also grateful that holidays like this only come occasionally. Wow!
I used to think food was the best thing ever! It was what I looked forward to. It is what I associated with a "good time." I still really like food, but I am realizing more and more that there is more to life! AND I feel better when I "take it easy."
Somewhere inside of me lives that little voice that whispers "FOOD--and lots of it--means happiness!" That voice gets louder when I am with my family! We had a really great Thanksgiving weekend and we had lots of yummy food! I probably gained some pounds...And my stomach is very full STILL!! I'll miss having everyone here, but I'm ready to get back to moderation and Isagenix meals!
